Common Questions

Everything you need to know about the SponsorLink.au network.

How does the revenue sharing work for clubs?

Clubs receive a percentage of the monthly subscription fees paid by businesses that sponsor them. Additionally, the customer shares a portion of their discount with their nominated club at the time of purchase with participating businesses. Together, these combined elements provide a completely passive, automated income stream for the club.

Does the geofencing track my location 24/7?

No. We use native mobile APIs that only 'wake up' when you cross a specific virtual perimeter. We do not store or track your continuous movement history.

How do SEO backlinks improve my business ranking?

Google values links from established community domains (`.com.au`). Our automated links from club websites provide high local authority, helping you appear higher in local search results and the 'Map Pack'.

Do SponsorLink memberships expire?

No, SponsorLink member passes do not expire. We want to ensure members can continuously support local businesses and sponsor clubs without any interruption or administrative friction.

What if I want to support another club or multiple clubs?

To support a different club, you can edit your details via the app and select a different club. If you wish to support multiple clubs, simply register the additional club to get a second SponsorLink card for that club. Note that you can only support one club at the time of purchase by choosing which card to present.

Can I register without supporting a community club?

Yes! If you do not nominate a local club, you can choose "No Club (Keep 95% of savings)". Your discount split will automatically configure to 95/5, meaning you keep 95% of all local partner business savings for yourself. The remaining 5% is split to support small town clubs struggling with sponsorships (helping them keep active in their communities) and to cover SponsorLink.au platform running costs.
